Operation Endeavour
Marlborough Primary School is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people, we are therefore proud members of the Operation Endeavour project which aims to support children who are at risk of harm by going missing.
What is Operation Endeavour?
Operation Endeavour is a joint operation between Together for Children Sunderland, Northumbria Police and the Police and Crimes Commissioner to safeguard children and young people at risk of harm from going missing.
How it works:
- Police receive a report that a young person has been reported missing.
- Operation Endeavour admin notify key contacts in school via email.
- School inform relevant staff.
- Operation Endeavour admin notify school when the young person is found.
- Young person is supported as needed by a member of staff they are comfortable with when they return.
