Modern Foreign Languages
In Marlborough Primary School, we teach a foreign language (French) as part of our school curriculum. We believe that children really enjoy learning to speak another language and the earlier a child is exposed to a foreign language, the faster they acquire language in question. Learning a foreign language will help develop pupils' confidence at speaking aloud and will also help them to understand more about the English language. Through learning a new language, it can help children understand their own culture/s and those of others.
