SEN Local Offer
As part of the Children and Families Bill 2014, all schools are required to make available their Local SEND Offer to families which details how they can support children and young people with a special educational need and/or disability (SEND).

Admission arrangements for children in the category of SEND Support are the same as those for all other children who attend the school.
All children regardless of disability, gender or race have an entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum, which is differentiated to enable children to:
- understand the relevance and purpose of learning activities;
- experience levels of understanding and rates of progress that bring feelings of success and achievement.
If a pupil requires Specified Individual Support the school will work with Sunderland Council to carry out a Statutory Assessment of your child's needs. This could include a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Our school is DDA (Disability, Discrimination Act) compliant and therefore has suitable access for anyone with a disability.
